interaction designer at Google.
The story of how I got to where I am today is by no means straightforward, nor was it expected. With two undergraduate liberal arts degrees from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, I graduated a year too early to be sure of where I wanted to go next. Eventually, I found myself in the merchant world, pursuing a dream of working alongside the fashion industry, in hopes of applying both my analytical and creative interests. It was there, however, that I realized I needed to stretch my creative wings further than the merchant career trajectory would allow me.
I found aesthetic design, complex problem-solving, and a whole lot of empathy to be the three components that drew me to the world of UX. With my experience working for leading retailers such as Bloomingdale's and Estée Lauder, I bring forth a collaborative and business-oriented mindset to all my designs in the digital world.
